Mackintosh, who starred on the show from its inception in 2011 until 2018, made the surprising comments in a recent interview. She explained that the glamorous image presented to viewers didn't always reflect reality, and that the production team often crafted storylines and situations to create drama and entertainment.
“It was all very fabricated,” Mackintosh stated. “People think I’m this incredibly privileged person, but I used to get the bus to filming!” This candid admission offers a rare glimpse behind the scenes of the reality television world, where curated narratives are common practice.
